Branding for a content creator.
A client seeking to establish a content creation business requested a logo + wordmark.
Logo Exploration
The client expressed that her brand should be centered around her name. So, I used her initials - JM, or simply M.
Concept A
This one has a more classy look to it. The icon represents putting pen to paper, and also contains a hidden M.
Concept B
This one is more modern. I made a single glyph out of J and M, and added three ellipses for some visual interest. Technically ellipses represent the omission of words, but they can also represent that someone is actively writing something (think texting / IM-ing).
